Sound Waters on Whidbey — Reserve now for Feb 6 learning event

Hello Quilceners —

You won’t want to miss Sound Waters 2016 – a one-day university on Whidbey Island filled with more than 60 fun and informative classes and presentations about the natural world and the fragile environment of the Salish Sea, bringing together people passionate about life in Puget Sound.

When: Saturday, February 6th, 2016
Where: South Whidbey High School

There are many new classes and a very exciting keynote speaker, Brian Atwater – co-author of The Orphan Tsunami of 1700, Japanese Clues to a Parent Earthquake in North America. His keynote will include excerpts from the new 2015 edition and insights regarding coastal geology affecting our area.
