“Triangle” Garden along Center Road at Little Quilcene River

This unassuming triangular piece of Center Road frontage in Quilcene was until recently a parking lot for abandoned vehicles, boats and trailers. This was the original Center Road crossing over the Little Quilcene River. This property was purchased very recently and donated to the Quilcene Historical Museum!

BELOW: This area was where most of the boats and trailers sat. It is now being developed into a native-plants garden by the Quilcene Beautification team.

Thanks, folks. That was my favorite fishing spot as a kid. I am so happy to see it cared for again.
